RAINFALL TOTALS! 

Yesterday we saw some heavy rain in our community and we want to share some of the rainfall data collected at our WeatherSTEM stations, from 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, to 12 a.m. today, July 15:
Emergency Operations Center: 1.85 inches
Sebring South: 2.76 inches
Avon Park: 1.87 inches
Highlands Lakes: 1.76 inches
Brighton: .63 inches
Lake Placid: 0.68 inches
Venus: 0.49 inches
Istokpoga Marsh: 0.43 inches
The Highlands County Board partners with Florida Division of Emergency Management and WeatherSTEM to capture weather data at 7 solar powered, cellular WeatherSTEM units in our county.
