Article: Orchids by the Lake

Highlands Orchid Society proudly presents Orchids by the Lake at the Jack Stroup Civic Center located behind the public library in Sebring. The show and sale will be held on March 23rd and March 24th from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. An entrance donation of $4 is requested and children under 12 are free. Orchids entered in this show for judging will be judged by representatives of the American Orchid Society based at Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens in Miami, Florida. When you visit this show, you will see beautiful displays by orchid societies, orchid vendors, and private individuals. Multiple vendors who grow and import orchid plants offer for sale gorgeous varieties from around the world. In addition, an orchid supplier who offers unique pots, hangers, medium, and plant racks will have a large display of these products. Join us at the Orchids by the Lake for a day of wonder and delight.
