Article: Audrey Asciutto for Florida House District 55

Have you voted yet? You can vote early through Saturday. If you prefer, vote on election day, Tues., Nov. 6th. I have already voted. I was excited to vote for Audrey Asciutto for Florida House District 55. I believe Audrey will truly represent the people of the Heartland.

Audrey is supported by voters from Highlands, Glades, Okeechobee, and St. Lucie County. These are her campaign donors. Her opponent has a huge campaign account which includes donations from utility companies, Big Pharma, oil companies, insurance companies and even the Koch brothers. Audrey has run a truly grassroots campaign. She has been out knocking on doors and talking with people and groups throughout the Heartland. She has been listening to the people she wants to represent.

Audrey is a proponent of strengthening our economy and bringing in better paying jobs. She favors expanding solar power, improving our schools and keeping our environment safe and beautiful. She wants the legislature to fully implement the medical marijuana amendment passed by the voters. She will answer to the voters and not to special interests.

If you haven't already voted please make sure you vote! If you are busy during the week, you can vote early on Saturday, Nov. 3 in Sebring, Lake Placid, or Avon Park. Go to votehighlands.com for early voting sites and precinct locations. If you want to vote on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, you need to vote in your precinct.
