Florida is in the midst of an environmental crisis caused by 20 years of Republicans having all the power in our great state. They have allowed the culture of passing the buck onto future generations to flourish. Now toxic algae blooms threaten to destroy our fragile ecosystem and our economy based on the eco-tourism industry. We need a candidate who has a clear and concise plan to address the climate crisis. We need logical plans to address the nutrient rich water coming out of Lake Okeechobee due to run off from Big Ag. That candidate is Nick Mrozowski, Candidate for Florida House District 55. The only candidate in this race to be endorsed by the Democratic Environmental Caucus of Florida.
Central Florida, especially Highlands, Okeechobee, St. Lucie, and Glades counties are in need of blue collar jobs that can help end the vicious cycles of poverty endured by families in the heartland. Ladies and gentleman, that candidate is Nick Mrozowski, He is going to fight to improve the quality of living for all Floridians by working to attract businesses to our district through incentives and creative relationship building, and by fighting to raise the states regressive minimum wage to a living wage.
Florida is one of the worst states in the country when it comes to education funding, but it has the nation’s fifth largest population. Nick is an educator and has been trained by the National Education Association. He is the only candidate qualified and equipped to deal with Florida’s broken education system and begin working to put the achievement of students and the well being of teachers over standardized testing scores.
Did I mention that he is the only candidate in this race that doesn’t have a mugshot? Be sure to vote Nick Mrozowski for State House District 55 in the Democratic Primary Race on August 28th and again in November to see real, lasting, and positive change come to our beautiful Florida!

Hey Nick, Lil Snickers here. So what is your plan to help curb the high nitrates and phosphorus levels in the Kissimmee-Okeechobee-Everglades Basin? The district 55 incumbent posted this link on his facebook page, http://blogs.ifas.ufl.edu/extension/2018/07/10/algal-blooms-faq/ but his comment leads me to believe he's confused about the article or at the very least he doesnt seem to have a plan to address the issues other than some cheeky comments about "real science."
