ABOUT US

The Sebring Small Business Organization (SSBO) is a Private Nonprofit Organization and not a Public Charity Foundation. We were founded by Sebring Small Business Owners for Sebring Small Business Owners. We are a thriving community of small businesses in and around Sebring, Florida that stand as a beacon of support for entrepreneurs in our community. Founded in 2024, the SSBO aims to foster a vibrant local economy by providing resources, networking and growth opportunities, and advocacy for small businesses.

MISSION AND VISION

Our mission is to Unite like-minded business professionals to benefit the community and foster mutual support for business growth and development. Through collaboration, we work to raise awareness and support for local entrepreneurs by sharing advertising, marketing, collaborative events, monthly meetings, and more.

SERVICES AND PROGRAMS

1. Business Development Workshops:
   The SSBO offers a variety of workshops designed to help business owners enhance their skills, and drive brand awareness and growth. Topics include financial management, marketing strategies, customer service excellence, P.O.S analysis, and digital transformation. These workshops are facilitated by industry experts and are tailored to meet the specific needs of small businesses.
   
   
2. Networking Events:
   Quarterly community events provide a platform for business owners to connect with their clients, and other business owners and share experiences that form valuable partnerships. These events range from casual meetups to formal networking luncheons and full-blow community block parties!  All of this is aimed at fostering a sense of community among local entrepreneurs.
   
   
3. Mentorship Programs:
   Recognizing the importance of guidance in business success, the SSBO plans to establish a mentorship program. Experienced business owners volunteer to mentor newcomers, offering insights, advice, and support to help them navigate the challenges of running a business.
   
   
4. Advocacy and Representation:
   The SSBO serves as the voice of the small business community in Sebring, advocating for policies and initiatives that benefit local entrepreneurs. They work closely with local government officials to ensure that the needs and concerns of small businesses are heard and addressed.
   
   
5. Member Directory & Resources:
   An extensive member directory and resource library is available to all members.  We encourage member collaborations and provide material such as business plan templates, financial calculators, market research reports, and legal guides. Our resource library is fairly new and continually updated and added to, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business community.

MEMBERSHIP AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Membership in the SSBO is open to all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in and around Sebring, Florida. Members enjoy exclusive benefits, including discounts on workshops, access to the mentorship program, and invitations to members-only events.
